Profiles: KRIS NEEDLES
Kris Needles is a graduate of MTI College, where she maintained a 4.0 grade point average while taking paralegal courses which included the study of substantive and procedural aspects of law as well as law office administration. Kris is certified as a paralegal by the State of California pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 6450.
Kris first joined the Law Offices of Whitney Washburn in 2002 where she assists with litigation support, trial preparation, discovery, document review and organization, and case investigation, as well as administrative matters. She also worked as a paralegal/secretary for a personal injury law firm where she obtained extensive knowledge of calendaring timelines, pleading creation and preparation, and client contact.
Prior to becoming a paralegal, Kris worked over 15 years in medical administration, including experience as a credentialing specialist. This position entailed detailed background investigation and review of physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health specialists to ensure they met the criteria to practice at one of the major medical centers in the Sacramento area.
In 2007, Kris continued her education and became a Certified Notary Signing Agent. In addition to regular notary duties, she is authorized to notarize loan documents.
Kris enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, baking, home decoration, and watching amateur auto road racing events.
